Nalla Nuvvula Nune  made from raw black sesame seeds remains rare, deeply traditional, and prized in Telugu households for both its bold flavour and its many uses beyond the kitchen. We extract ours the only right way through our Eddhu Ganuga, the ancient bull churned wooden press.

🔄 HOW WE EXTRACT OUR OIL

Raw black sesame seeds are loaded into our traditional wooden ganuga. A bull walks in slow, steady circles, turning the pestle that gently crushes the seeds at room temperature. The oil flows out naturally, is filtered, and bottled  nothing else.

⚗️ THE SCIENCE — RAW COLD PRESS VS ROASTED EXTRACTION

Roasting sesame seeds before pressing generates heat well above 150°C. This changes the chemical structure of the seed's natural compounds. while it intensifies aroma, it also alters the oil's natural profile significantly.

Our raw cold pressed method keeps the oil below 30°C throughout  preserving the seed's natural dark colour, its characteristic mild earthiness, and the full integrity of its natural fatty acid profile. What you get is the purest expression of black sesame — exactly as nature made it.
