Avisalu Nune - Eddhu Ganuga Nune | Bull Churned Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil
🌾 Avisa Nune Cold-Pressed Flaxseed Oil, Straight from the Ganuga
Avisalu flaxseeds have been part of Telugu households for generations, ground into chutneys, pressed into ladoos, and used as a daily oil long before flaxseed became a global wellness trend. Our Avisa Nune is extracted raw, cold, and slow through the same Eddhu Ganuga bull churned wooden press we use for all our oils. No heat. No solvents. No shortcuts. Just pure flaxseed oil the way it has always been made.
Flaxseeds are one of the most oil dense seeds we press small, smooth, and packed with natural oil that has a distinctly warm, nutty character. The oil that flows out of a cold press is a rich golden amber colour natural and unaltered. Most flaxseed oils available commercially are either solvent-extracted or refined to the point where the colour and aroma of the original seed are completely gone. Ours looks, smells, and behaves exactly like freshly pressed flaxseed should.
Raw flaxseeds are loaded into our traditional wooden ganuga. A bull walks in slow, steady circles, turning the wooden pestle that gently crushes the seeds at room temperature. Flaxseeds are delicate their natural compounds are highly sensitive to heat which makes the slow, cool, bull-churned press the ideal and only right way to extract this oil. The golden oil that flows out is filtered and bottled immediately. Nothing added, nothing removed.
Avisa Nune is one of the most nourishing external oils we offer. Applied to the scalp and hair, it deeply conditions dry, brittle hair and is traditionally used to bring back shine and softness to damaged hair. Its lightweight texture means it absorbs without leaving a heavy residue ideal for daily or overnight hair treatments.
On skin, it is particularly effective on dry patches, rough elbows and heels, and as a general body oil during dry winter months. It is also used as a nail and cuticle treatment and as a gentle massage oil for infants and adults alike. A little goes a long way the oil is potent and absorbs quickly.
